ITC supply sound system for large conference (August 2002)
ITC supplied a large sound system for the Anglican renewal ministries ‘Flames of Fire 2002’ conference at the Royal Welsh Showground.
The 10kw FOH sound system driven by Chameleon amplifiers included the new RS-5 and single 18” shermann speakers, flown in a vertical aray above the main stage. Shermanns GX-750 speakers were used as delays which were also flown from Shermann’s flying brackets.
A DDA mixing console, featuring 44 mono channels, 8 aux, 8sub groups, 10 by 8 matrix and VCA’s was used as the main front of house mixing console.
The band used LM-650 and GX-D500 shermann speakers as stage monitors.
Technical organiser and FOH engineer Tim Headley commented that by flying the system for the first time totally changed the spread of sound throughout the venue.
ITC also provided various other systems in seminar venues.
